Thank You so much!! You did it!!!


We were able to take 240 doses of Hepatitis B Vaccine to the employees of Panguma Hospital. The Representative from the Ministry of Health told us at the community board meeting that there was no other hospital in Sierra Leone that had immunized all its employees!  They have all received their first and send shots and will get one more in July. There was enough for every employee including the cleaners, day workers , the CHO students and even the Paramount Chief.  The employees gladly lined up for their shots,  and they send their thank you's to all who donated to the project!

Sierra Leone, officially the Republic of Sierra Leone, is a country in West Africa that is bordered by Guinea to the northeast, Liberia to the southeast, and the Atlantic Ocean to the southwest.

West African Education and Medical Mission (WAEMM) was founded in 2009 to provide a means for our contributors to help us in aiding the people of West African countries. WAEMM is a non-profit 501c3 corporation that accepts charitable donations for WAEMM projects in West Africa.  The projects are chosen by the board and include education and medical objectives as well as many other projects to help achieve the goals of this mission.
